Greensborough Branch provides National Seniors Australia members in the municipalities of Banyule, Nillumbik & Whittlesea with an opportunity to get together not only to meet new people and enjoy social outings but also to have their say on important issues that affect over 50s.
The venue is Greensborough RSL, 111 Main Street. Branch meetings are held on 3rd Tuesday of each month, with the exception of March and September meetings which are held in the evening to accommodate members still in the work force. Day meetings commence at 10.00am, doors open at 9:30am. Evening meetings commence at 6.40pm, with doors open at 6:00pm for those wishing to have dinner.
We spend the first part of the meeting going through the formalities and catching up on information from the President and Secretary. The Activities and Travel Officers present current and future activities/tours. The aim of the meeting is to have all members involved in the decision making process, thus questions are welcome at any time.
We then break for a cuppa and catch up with other members before the second half gets underway.
The second session is dedicated to a guest speaker. The Committee endeavours to provide interesting speakers covering a wide range of topics.
We ask for a donation of $3.00 per person to cover meeting costs and door prizes.
